VanillaGate
VanillaGate is the Bedrock proxy for networks of VanillaMine servers. Players connect to the proxy; it checks their Xbox Live login once and moves them between servers without reconnecting: no loading screen to the server list, the player keeps the same entity, and the move looks like a dimension change (or a seamless or cinematic transition).
Features:
- fallback servers, and a limbo while no fallback is up;
- forced hosts (
survival.example.com→ the survival server); - flood and bot limits, one session per player;
- BungeeCord-style commands and permissions (
/server,/hub,/send,/glist…); - admin HTTP API and Prometheus metrics;
- config reload without a restart;
- several proxies sharing one Redis;
- NetherNet for Bedrock 1.26.50+ and RakNet for 1.26.5x clients;
- resource packs sent and encrypted by the proxy.

Quick start
- Download the binary for your system from the releases (
vanillagate-linux-amd64,-linux-arm64,-windows-amd64.exe,-darwin-arm64…), or use the Pterodactyl egg. - Run it once to write the default files:bashThis creates
./vanillagate -initconfig.yml,proxy_key.pem(signs player tickets) andnethernet_identity.pem(the NetherNet identity). - Start it:bashIt prints the proxy public key. Players connect to
./vanillagate -config config.ymllisten.bind(default port 19132): open it in TCP and UDP. - Link your servers.
Back up the keys
Keep proxy_key.pem and nethernet_identity.pem. Clients remember the NetherNet identity after the trust prompt; with several proxies, give all of them the same nethernet_identity.pem.
