Updating

1. Read the changelog of the new version on the releases page.
2. Stop the server and back it up.
3. Replace PocketMine-MP.phar. When the release notes say so, replace bin/ with the newest PHP binaries too.
4. Start the server.

On Pterodactyl, Reinstall the server: the egg downloads the newest phar and PHP and keeps worlds, plugins and settings.

Update notifications

The server checks updates.luxurynodes.com and tells operators when a new version is out. Settings are in the auto-updater section of pocketmine.yml.

New settings

pocketmine.yml is never rewritten, so settings added by an update do not appear in your file and use their defaults. The pocketmine.yml reference always shows the current list.
